STAGE 3 TFC REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE

A thin film composite (TFC) high quality membrane. It removes the following hard water contaminants that may be present in your water: lead, cooper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, and selenium. The water is forced through this membrane and any un-pure water is discarded allowing through just pure filtered water

STAGE 4 DI CARTRIDGE

Tulsion 115 Mixed bed resin allows for total de-ionisation (polishing the water) of your reverse osmosis water enabling you to achieve a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of zero ppm.

The TDS from a RO unit is not always as low as required so using DI resin will bring the TDS down to almost zero.

DI Resin should be changed once your TDS reading goes above zero ppm

The input water must meet the following criteria for proper Reverse Osmosis function:

• Temperature must be less than 45 degrees Celsius
• Iron content no more than 0.1 ppm
• Water pressure must me a mimimum of 40 psi (2.75 Bar) To acheive maximum water production you would require the optimum 80 psi of water pressure
• PH not less than 3 and not more than 11
• TDS under 1000 ppm recommended
